FAQ

Daycare Questions & Answers

• Do you accept CCAP?

Yes! We work with plenty of CCAP families and even can help families set up or fix CCAP issues.

• Is food provided?

Yes! we provide meals and snacks as part of our programs. Many kids have their favorite meals, yours will too!

• What kind of safety and security features do you have?

We use multiple different security features, most notably, we have camera systems that constantly record as well as a door lock system which allows each parent to have a code to enter the front door. Anyone without a code can not get in.

• What experience do your staff have?

Our director maintains a bachelors degree in early childhood education while each lead teacher is required to have the appropriate college classes to be qualified as a lead. All of our staff participate in regular first aid and CPR training as well a continuous education related to Early Childhood Education as required by state licensing. Our combined team brings over 30 years of experience working with children to the table.

• Do you do field trips?

Yes we often do field trips, most notably in the summer. Some of our favorites from this summer included a trip to a local farm where children got to pet goats and horses and even weekly field trip to a local splash pad where children got to cool off splashing in the water with their friends. Some field trips may come with extra cost, while others may not.

• What kind of events do you host?

We do frequent parents nights out and parents mornings in events where children stay under our care late or on an occasional weekend morning. Some favorites include a recent space themed Parents night out where we celebrated the launch of the Artemis 2 rocket by bringing in our own high powered telescope, allowing the children to see the craters of the moon in high detail, they even got to see the stripes of Jupiter!

• What are your student to teacher ratios?

Ratios depend specifically on the day and on the classroom, however we always operate at or below state standard ratios. Often times it is 1 teacher to 5 or 6 children for our younger classrooms. (about half the state licensing requirements!)

• Can I bring my child to the tour?

Yes! please do! we love to meet the children during the tour and most children love to come tour and play. They always receive a warm welcome and find friends to play with!

• I see you have photos on your website and social media, what about privacy?

The amount of privacy you have is strictly up to you! any photos with our children in it on our website or on social media includes ONLY children with signed media consent from their parents or guardians. (many include owner and staff children!)

• What about contracts?

While there is an enrollment contract, it is simply policy based, your care is not bound by time and there are no cancellation fees.  Pull any time with as little as two weeks notice.
